Welcome to Aurora Kings Point Breach where The City of Auora breaches their own agreements and the Douglas County elected officials, whose job it is to protect us, don't bother to return our phone calls or emails

In the late 1980s the City of Aurora and the developer of Kings Point North and South bound themselves to these agreements. These agreements shall run with the land, and shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the heirs, successors and assigns of the parties hereto.

These legally binding agreements clearly state that the developer must create a 50ft buffer along the border of Valley Hi and that no public street or public park is allowed along that buffer.

Then in the early 2000s, new developers submitted plans to put roads along the boarders right where they are not allowed to be.  Unbelievably, and in obvious breach, the City of Aurora approved these plans!

Infuriatingly, neighboring homeowners cannot bring legal action against the City of Aurora for this breach.

So, because we are in unincorporated Douglas County, we reached out to our commissioner, Abe Laydon, for help.

This guy:

BUT HE DOESN'T BOTHER TO ANSWER HIS PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS!

Hey Abe!   Do your job!  Answer your constituents!  and get this fixed!  You've got our phone numbers and emails.  We look forward to hearing from you.
